SEVİN OKYAY (1942 – )

Translator, journalist, film critic and writer. She currently prepares and hosts a radio Show called Cinayet Masası. In addition to her myriad of book translations (including Harry Potter books) she also wrote four books:  Çiçek Dürbünü, Gol Atan Kaleye, İlk Romanım and 120 Filmde Seyrialem.

OSMAN AYSU (1936 – )

Graduated from Istanbul University’s School of Law, Mr. Aysu currently holds the third position in the list of most productive Turkish writers with his 49 crime & mystery novels.

Critic, researcher and writer. He contributed in Türk Romanında Kurtuluş Romanları, Edebiyat Sosyolojisi İncelemeleri, Taşraya Bakmak, Oğuz Atay’a Armağan, Mehmed Uzun Portresi, Fethi Naci’ye Armağan, Modern Türkiye’de Siyasi Düşünceler Ansiklopedisi with many articles.

EROL ÜYEPAZARCI (1938 – )

A Mechanical engineer, Mr. Üyepazarcı’s great love for books, and especially for mystery novels shows itself in his translations, his amazing library and Korkmayınız Mister Sherlock Holmes! a huge book chronologising the worldwide history of the genre and its adventure in Turkey.

METİN CELAL (1961 – )

Publisher, poet, critic and novelist. Many of his articles and poems were published in various newspapers and periodicals. He’s a member of the organization committee of Turkey’s first crime literature event, The Black Week.

Leslie S. Klinger (1946 - )

Leslie S. Klinger is considered to be one of the world’s foremost authorities on Sherlock
Holmes, Dracula, H. P. Lovecraft, Frankenstein, and the history of mystery and horror fiction.
Klinger is a long-time member of the Baker Street Irregulars, and served as the Series Editor
for the Manuscript Series of The Baker Street Irregulars; he is currently the Series Editor for
the BSI’s Biography Series. He served three terms as Chapter President of the SoCal Chapter
of the Mystery Writers of America and on its National Board
